BlueLine Vintage strives to exist where history, sustainable living, and self-expression meet. Owner and curator, Corinne Barker started BlueLine in 2017 as an answer to her ever-growing personal vintage collection. As a lifelong lover of things with history, she rediscovered the thrill of hunting for diamonds in the rough- a hobby started while sifting through her grandmother and mother’s treasures, and shopping at thrift stores as an adolescent. Corinne loves the thrill of finding items overlooked or underappreciated, of bringing them back to life with care, and of finding them new, appreciative owners. She strives to help people work vintage items into a modern wardrobe, and hopes to help people view vintage as a sustainable alternative to fast fashion. Now a mother to three children, Corinne found it difficult to source cute yet environmentally responsible clothing for her children. The BlueLine Vintage line has now been expanded to carry beautiful vintage pieces for infants and children. BlueLine Vintage currently exists as an online shop, but does occasional pop-up markets or festivals in Manitoba.
