In 2011 the love of my life proposed to me. Like most brides to be, I quickly started my wedding day Pinterest boards, frantically trying to decide what I wanted for a bouquet, and came across paper flowers in my search. My big day was in nearly two years so I had plenty of time to master the art making paper flowers. And when the time came, they did not disappoint. Two years after my wedding, friends and family asked if I would make paper flowers for their décor needs. I tested the waters on Facebook to see if there was a market for what I was able to create, and it turns out there are plenty of people who go gaga over handcrafted paper décor. And that’s how this skill turned into more than just a hobby – it’s my passion.
